Giving Back

We believe that one must give before one must receive. This “attitude of gratitude” inspires us to participate in many community events, including our bi-annual Community Day! Every spring we open our doors to the children of Red Bank Elementary, and every fall to those in Red Bank Regional. We thank Lori and the team at the source for helping us to make this possible.

We love animals and every summer, we donate to the Monmouth County ASPCA. Every fall we host a candy-drive, collecting any unused candy which we donate the candy to Operation Gratitude.

Dentistry can be a dirty business, but we try to do our part to make this world a better place! We actively try to help the environment by keeping our business operation as green as possible and we strive to minimize our carbon footprint. We are a certified sustainable business. History

This building at 180 River Road has housed 3 generations of dentists. Built around 1918 and designated as historic by Red Bank Borough in 2018, Dr. Schwartz first opened his dental office here sometime in the 1950s. Dr. Schwartz retired and transferred the practice to Harry Mahoney, a man in his early 30’s who had been working in Red Bank under Dr. Van Nostrand. After a fruitless search over a few years,
Dr. Mahoney and Dr. Klayman met serendipitously. The contracts were signed, and Red Bank Smiles first opened on August 21, 2014.
